It's been awhile!

Busy Busy Busy,

The website has brought in a lot of business and with that comes setbacks to the website.
We have devoted a lot of time to many miscellaneous jobs and very creative works - and it's that time again to revamp and give our site a face lift.

I'm not sure how many people make it to our blog and read what we have to say and what's happening, but none the less - we move on.

A lot of technical upgrades have occurred since the last post:
  1. We have a new web host! A much faster web host, at that. New visitors won't notice, but our speeds allow for a much more streamlined visit and considerably faster page loads. (this also helps with image transfer rates as well to, and from, the customer)
  2. We have some new equipment that bring us that much closer to the cutting edge, such as: Better sound equipment, a new drawing tablet, and extra network security at the office.
  3. A new upgrade allows us, internally, to cache downloads from the web and increase our work flow speed; ultimately a benefit to you, the customer.
Lastly, we plan on changing the pricing page dramatically. I have been given a lot of input and constructive criticism on the issue. Soon a new and improved, and hopefully more interactive, pricing section will be available.

Please check back and see what's in store!

A Vicarious Valentine Video

We’re a twelfth of the way into 2007 and just a week away from Valentine’s Day. Because we specialize in memorials and tributes – rarely do we get the privilege of expressing the emotion of love between a couple in the building of their relationship. This year we were grateful to get the opportunity to do exactly that.

A young man stopped by the studio with a hand full of pictures and gobs of video! He practically had the work done for us - or so we thought. Generally most of what we do relies on creating the illusion of motion with static images, while in this case we had to do the exact opposite. The outcome of this video was amazing.

For the first time we had to reverse the process of motion and had the chance to give a totally unique illusion and effect that we’ve never done before. The feelings that overwhelm you while seeing this montage could never be put into words – I’m so proud of what we do.

With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, give us a call! Help us make video-graphic history and a memory preserved in time for you.

From all of us here at JumbleStudios –
Happy Valentines Day!

Our 2007 Competitive Advantage

I was reading an article about an author who interviewed a lot of CEO’s about their competitive advantage’s and how most CEO’s couldn’t list them all for their companies. In the service industry a competitive advantage is very important. It’s what brings the customers and keeps them coming back.

Luckily, as CEO of Jumble Studios, I can list our advantages and explain why you, as the customer, would want to do business with us.

Our….
  • Caring attitude that we put into each montage we create evokes emotion that shows in our work.
  • Ability to work with the families is a key component to making a montage that fits you. Most of our montages are memorial specific – a tribute of someone’s past. And working with families is a key to bringing the lost back to life and expressing what you’ll never forget.
  • Cutting edge technology sets us apart from the competition ten fold. Our creative designers are highly trained and have many years with hands on work with the industry standard software we use. We don’t use cookie-cut software that does the work for us and cuts out any creative control. We make the motion and emotion with every frame.
  • Professional creativity drastically sets us apart. Setting everything aside, our know-how, our professionalism, our industry expertise… there’s nothing that says more about our competitive advantage than our unparalleled creativity. Several of us at Jumble Studios are amateur photographers and work with professional photographers on a regular basis. We see the little things that make the big picture and respect every pixel of your memories.
  • Turn around time can make the difference. Memorial specific orders come with our “Priority Wake Option” which gives you a temporary package to view at the wake/funeral ceremony while your final montage is created. This takes the waiting time out and still gives us plenty of time to make your memorial perfect.

For us to simply list what sets us apart is really useless, as our preview demonstrations show what could never be put into words. Because of this I ask you to take a challenge, test our advantages and make them your own.

And to our competitors… What are yours?
